Bareburger Midtown East at 251 E 52nd St, New York, NY – Ostrich, elk, or wild boar burger, anyone? Fancy a vegan burger? Check out Bareburger, you can be guaranteed that nowhere else has this type of selection.
Bareburger is an eco-consciousness burger joint that specializes in offering meats that are organic, humanely-raised, antibiotic and hormone-free. Recently, the popular burger chain introduced their largest unit of the restaurant group’s 30 locations. The new 5000 square foot space, formerly occupied by Opal Bar & Restaurant,is the mini-chain’s 23rd New York City outpost in it’s growing burger empire.
If you’re not inclined to try exotic meats, you can still enjoy a delicious meal here. Along with its handcrafted salads, grain bowls, sandwiches and burgers, guests are also able to build their own favorites.
The prices are a bit more than your usual burger joint, by nature, organic food will never be as cost-effective as conventional food. None of the burgers come with a side, so be prepared. Those are extra and can run you an additional $6, setting you back $18 or more for a burger and fries.
There’s also a nice selection of wines, draft beers, homemade soda and organic milkshakes, with guest favorites such as the Breuckelen’s Cup (Gin, Mint, Lime, Cucumber, Pastiche, Sea Salt), Fig & Pig (Bourbon, Lemon, Fig Jam, Agave, Country Bacon) and Salty Dog (Vodka, Grapefruit, Salt Rim, Apertif Bitter).
Bareburger Midtown East will be open Sunday – Thursday from 11:00AM – 11:00PM and Friday & Saturday 11:00AM – 12:00AM.
Barburger has 35 locations in the U.S. and Canada since opening the first restaurant in June 2009 in Astoria, Queens. The chain also has locations in Japan and Germany and plans to open locations soon in Dubai, Chicago and Miami.
